Being B~Y0(n)D Binary; waar t schuurt, waar t wringt invites participants to move beyond polarities. Recognizing the creative energy of friction, kodiCrone aims for visitors to find a path beyond the binaries of Self and Other, wrong and right, winner and loser, dark and light, life and death, to ride a novel brainwave into a speculative space on the sounds of time.
This sonic installation explores autistic listening as part of an ongoing investigation into the way sound affects visual perception.
The Authority of My Experience is an eight channel spatial audio piece that anticipates the way sound is received by neurodivergent audiences, while simultaneously speaking to neuro-typical visitors. Bringing together kodi, Crone, and Miri, it creates a binding fourth force that transcends limitations of space, time, and other mental constructs.
